Sterling is a licensed and insured massage therapist as well as an exercise physiologist and certified strength and reconditioning specialist.

Sterling graduated from the University of Utah in 2007, from the Soma Institute in 2010 and from Northern Illinois University in 2013. He is an instructor at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine at the Illinois campus and is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree as a Physical Therapist.

As an athlete from the age of four, Sterling developed a strong appreciation for the human body and its abilities.  Learning about the human body from his own experiences as a competitive athlete, as well as through the injuries he sustained during sports, he decided to study kinesiology and biomechanics as an undergraduate student.  He continued his education earning a MS in Exercise Physiology paying special attention to injury rehabilitation.  As an NCAA All-American Athlete, sports performance in conjunction with health and wellness and rehabilitation lead Sterling to pursue teaching to help others develop the skills needed to enhance the lives of those around them.

He felt there still seemed to be a void in his education, at which time he decided to return to school for massage therapy. Manual therapy was the perfect addition to his practice as it has allowed him to gain greater knowledge of the human body and how the power of touch improves its function. Sterling continues his education process as much as he can.
