Our 1 day Introduction to Medical Massage course consists of 1 day of the Science of Therapeutic and Stress Reduction Massage, as well as hands-on training using the variations of Therapeutic Massage techniques. The hands-on training focuses on how to optimize your Therapeutic and Stress Reduction session using the science of massage. This is the basic, necessary component of any Medical Massage session.
This Introduction to Medical Massage Seminar is presented as 12 continuing education hours. Eight hours of this class may be applied to a Certification in Medical Massage.
Our 2 day Introduction to Medical Massage course consists of 1 day of the Science of Therapeutic and Stress Reduction Massage, as well as hands-on training using the variations of Therapeutic Massage techniques. The 2nd day will focus on additional variations of Therapeutic Massage techniques, as well as the science and application of Trigger Point Therapy and Connective Tissue Massage, along with how to market a Medical Massage practice.
You will learn:
– How to eliminate phenomenon of adaptation
– The correct body mechanics to insure years of successful practice
– 60 variations of the 7 basic massage techniques developed by the Western School of Massage Therapy.
You will learn unique techniques such as effleurage with unequally distributed pressure, scrolling kneading, Sarkisov-Sirasini’s friction, etc.
This Introduction to Medical Massage Seminar is presented as 14 or 16 continuing education hours. Eight hours of this class may be applied to a Certification in Medical Massage.

Dr. Jeff Cullers will personally work with you on an individual basis.
This 2 day Medical Massage Seminar is presented as 16 continuing education hours and may be applied to a Certification in Medical Massage with the Science of Massage Institute.
3 DAY SEMINAR
This 3 day Medical Massage course, is similar to our 2 day course, but focuses on an additional condition being presented. The seminars presented by Dr. Cullers on behalf of the Science of Massage, are Medical Massage protocols where every technique and protocol is 100% backed science.
This 3 day Medical Massage Seminar is presented as 24 continuing education hours and may be applied to a Certification in Medical Massage with the Science of Massage Institute.
