Kinesio Taping Basics

In this interactive and challenging course, healthcare practitioners will be introduced to the kinesiology taping method.  The instructor will introduce the taping concepts, theory and history, and discuss the five major physiological systems response – skin, fascia, circulatory/lymphatic, muscle and joint.

Kinesiology taping assessments and clinical discussion will be included for the whole body.  This course is a combination of lecture and practical lab.

Attendees will have hands on practice and interactive feedback and instruction.  At the completion of this course, attendees will be able to discuss the concepts and apply the taping to address overuse syndromes, stimulate weak muscles or relax shortened muscles, and decrease pain and swelling.

This class is presented as 14 or 16 continuing education hours.
