In this interactive and challenging 2-day webinar, Nationally Board Certified & Licensed Chiropractic Physician, SOMI Certified Medical Massage Instructor/Practitioner, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Dr. Cullers, will discuss and students will develop:
- an understanding of the history and theory of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD) known as the Vodder technique, (developed by E. Vodder Ph.D.).
- an understanding of what lymphodynamic edema is & causes
- an understanding of what lymphostatic edema is & causes
- an understanding of the indications & contraindications of lymphatic drainage massage
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an intact lymphatic system of the head
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an intact lymphatic system of the neck
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an intact lymphatic system of the face
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an intact lymphatic system of the torso
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an altered (lymph node removal) lymphatic system of the arms
- an understanding of how to perform techniques consistent with proper Vodder-style lymphatic drainage massage for an altered (lymph node removal) lymphatic system of the legs
Webinar Requirements:

- Strong Internet Connection
- Snacks and Beverages
- Massage Table, linens, and massage lotion/oil/cream etc. (1 table for 2-4 people)
- Wear loose comfortable clothing such as yoga or fitness attire
- You must attend the Hands-On training
- This is a 2 PART LIVE course presented using ZOOM webinar. For the Hands-On portion of this course, to learn the Hands-On techniques presented, it is recommended to have a client/person to perform the techniques on. If you do not have someone to practice on, you will be observing.
